Establishing An Irish Autism Research Network

Dr Fiana Ní Ghrálaigh, a postdoctoral researcher in the Family Genomics Research Group, published a letter to the editor of the Irish Journal of Psychological Medicine in September 2022. This letter highlights the importance of research engagement and public patient involvement (PPI) in autism research.


Fiana describes our Thesis In Three event on World Autism Awareness Day 2021. This event aimed to showcase current autism research in Ireland through three-minute lightning presentations from early-career researchers. The event proposed establishment of a network of autism research in Ireland.
