December 2024: Christmas Collaboration Lunch 2024

familygenomics

On the 16th of December, we had the privilege of joining our colleagues and collaborators for the annual Christmas Lunch at Pugin Hall. This gathering provided an excellent platform to reflect on our accomplishments in 2024 and to brainstorm exciting plans for the future in 2025!

During the highlights session, our colleagues shared their impressive new publications, impactful presentations at WCPG 2024, and the launch of innovative research projects and hackathon challenges.

We even took the opportunity to pitch a creative idea for collaboration that we are eager to explore. Our proposals included using zebrafish models to study ASD, examining sleepless genes in space, and organising an engaging bioinformatics hackathon themed around "Breaking Bad" habits. We believe these initiatives have the potential to lead to groundbreaking discoveries and foster a strong collaborative spirit! Happy Christmas everyone!
